Yes all our therapists are qualified and have been trained with recognised institutions.

How much notice do I need to give when cancelling?

We require at least 24hrs notice for cancellations otherwise we will charge you for 50% of fee of consultation. So when you receive your confirmation email, this is a good time to cancel if you need. No shows will also be charged 50% of the fee of a consultation. We hope you understand that it is difficult to fill appointments at the last minute. All we ask is that you value our time and energy, just as you value your own.

I am Pregnant, is this a problem?

No this isn't a problem, Ayurveda has many things to offer in regards to pregnancy. The Abhyanga massage (after the first trimester) and Shirodhara are wonderful treatments during pregnancy. However please call us and we can discuss treatments that are suitable.

What happens after a treatment?

After the treatment you will be given a few minutes to rest. You are then welcome to relax and enjoy an herbal tea before going home.

Is there any advice for post when I get home?

After you treatment it is best to rest, so avoid any social functions straight after your treatment. The nature of the Ayurvedic treatments is that they work strong on a physical, mental and emotion level so it is good to rest and enjoy some quiet time to yourself to reap the full benefit. Avoid excess stimulation such as TV, computer, phones, loud music, noising environments etc. It is also recommended to avoid exposure to the elements such as wind, sun, cold, rain etc. A hat or scarf on your head and warm clothing is recommended if this is unavoidable.

What payments do you accept?

We accept cash, eftpos, all credit cards (except AMEX). Payment can be made in person or over the phone (there is a $1 transaction fee).

Are treatments covered by private health fund?

Unfortunately treatments and consultations are not claimable at this stage.

Should I eat before a treatment?

It is preferably to not eat 2 hrs prior to your treatment. If you require something opt for a small light meal of soup or kitchari.

Do I need to bring anything to my treatment?

It is helpful if you bring an old towel or sarong that you don't mind getting oily to wipe yourself down or wrap up your hair after the treatment. It is also advisable to wear old comfy clothes to change into after your treatment due to the oils, powders etc used in treatments.

Will I receive a reminder about my appointment?

Yes you will receive a reminder email 24hrs prior to your treatment. If you have to cancel your appointment we require 24hrs notice before any charges are made.
